Before you fall for the photos, run every venue through these questions.
- Does it comfortably fit your guest count — seated and standing?
- What's included (tables, power, parking, rooms) and what's extra?
- Are there in-house vendors you must use, or can you bring your own?
- What's the backup plan for rain or heat?
- How many events can it host — and are there noise or time limits?
- Are there stays nearby for outstation guests?
- What's the real, all-in cost after taxes and fees?
If a venue answers these well, it's usually a keeper.
